The platform consists of two primary discovery engines: a searchable Marketplace and an AI-assisted Partnering Matchmaker. Both systems rely on a unified pharmaceutical taxonomy and territory model.

Marketplace

The Marketplace functions as a structured database of pharmaceutical assets and service capabilities. Listings span prescription (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) products, medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and intermediates. Search and filtering are supported by ATC (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical) and NFC (New Federal Classification) taxonomies, as well as GMP standards such as EU-GMP, US-FDA Approved, WHO-GMP, and local country GMP.

Asset owners can publish listings in a protected "Teaser Mode" that masks sensitive details until an authenticated user submits a contact request. This design balances visibility with confidentiality.

Partnering Matchmaker

The Partnering Matchmaker is a discovery feed that lets executives define Supply and Demand criteria across territories, product types, regulatory classes, dosage forms, clinical stages, and ATC categories. The system recommends matches based on overlap between a member's configured interests and the anonymous criteria of other verified executives. Mutual matches can initiate a secure Chat thread, at which point identities are revealed.

1IBHub operates a proprietary Executive Leaderboard that credits members for platform engagement. Points are awarded for actions such as publishing listings (+10), sending marketplace contact requests (+5), submitting approved feature requests (+20), completing referrals (+50), and interacting with the Matchmaker (+1). Points expire on a rolling five-year basis.

Executive tiers are structured as follows:

• Standard Executive — base member status.
• Bronze Executive — 50 or more points.
• Silver Executive — 200 or more points.
• Gold Executive — 300 or more points and at least two years of membership.

Tier thresholds are subject to periodic review and may be adjusted as the platform matures.

The platform organizes commercial opportunities across six macro regions and more than 190 individual countries and territories. The six regions are:

• Sub-Saharan Africa

Listings and Matchmaker criteria can be scoped globally or narrowed to specific countries, allowing members to model complex in-licensing, out-licensing, and distribution arrangements.

Access to the platform is restricted to verified pharmaceutical executives. New registrations require email confirmation and mandatory two-step verification (MFA) via a time-based one-time password (TOTP) authenticator application.

Proprietary asset data is protected by Teaser Mode, which shows only non-confidential summaries to unauthenticated visitors. Full details, contact requests, and identity reveal are gated behind authentication and mutual opt-in workflows.
